[Responsibilities]

- Monitor and maintain a prestigious gallery space as well as opening and closing

- Flawlessly communicate with all employees at VSF in Los Angeles, Dallas and Seoul

- Warmly greet and welcome guests to the gallery and answer any questions about the gallery, exhibition, artwork and artists with confidence and intelligence

- Demonstrates motivation, flexibility and patience

- Assist with special events, fairs and openings

- Assist with preparation for gallery exhibitions

- Treat sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

- Proofread Korean text for press releases and outgoing correspondence

- Create condition reports of all incoming and outgoing artworks as a registrar

[Qualifications]

- Strong language and communication skills in both English and Korean

- Bachelor's degree with at least one year related work experience in a gallery, auction house, or art advisory firm

- Well-rehearsed knowledge of the Korean art scene in general

- Strong administrative and correspondence skills including phone, email and walk-in inquiries with the public, staff, artists and clients

- Maintain poise and professionalism under pressure

- Have a friendly, positive and professional demeanor while communicating with employers, staff, artists, clients and public

- Familiarity with basic art installation and handling

- Familiarity with SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and art database systems a plus​
