[CICA 미술관] 국제전 “Art for Living Space” 작가 모집

CICA 미술관 국제전 “Art for Living Space”에 참여할 작가들을 모집합니다. 본 전시는 생활 공간을 위한, 또는 주제로 한 사진, 회화, 비디오 아트, 설치 작업 및 아트 프로젝트, 생활 공간의 사진/영상 기록 등을 소개합니다.

*작품의 설치

– 사진 및 2D 디지털 아트

선정된 작품은 10×15 inch (25.4cm x 38.1cm) 사이즈로 출력되어 프레이밍되며 CICA 미술관 큐레이터와 스텝이 설치합니다. 다른 사이즈로 프린트를 원하실 경우 지원 이메일에 명시하여 주시기 바랍니다.

– 비디오 아트 및 영상 기록물

전시를 위한 프로젝터, DVD/DIVX 플레이어 등이 지원되며 작품은 CICA 미술관의 큐레이터들이 작가님의 가이드라인에 따라 작품을 설치 예정입니다. 작품의 수송에서 발생하는 비용은 작가가 부담합니다. 몇 점의 싱글 채널 비디오 작품들이 한 프로젝터에서 상영될 예정입니다. 작품이 하나의 프로젝터에서 단독으로 설치되어야 하는 경우, 또는 두 대 이상의 프로젝터나 모니터를 필요로 하는 작품의 경우 추가 비용이 발생할 수 있습니다.

– 물리적 작업 (회화, 조각, 설치 작업 등)

작품의 수송에서 발생하는 비용은 작가가 부담합니다. 평면 작업의 경우 최대 1.5 m × 1.5 m의 작품을, 설치 작업의 경우 최대 1.5m x 1.5m x 2m (w x l x h) 이하의 작품을 공모하실 수 있습니다.벽에 설치하는 작품의 경우 최대 10 kg까지 가능합니다. 제한된 사이즈 보다 큰 작품의 출품을 원하실 경우 “Contact Us” 페이지에 문의해주시기 바랍니다.

-영상 온라인 링크 3개 이하, JPG 이미지 5개 이하를 간단한 이력 및 자기소개와 함께 “[email protected]”으로 보내주세요.

-이메일 제목 란에 “Submission: Art for Living Space – 카테고리 – 작가이름 (영문/한글)”라고 적어주세요.

선정된 작가는 한 작품당 5만원의 전시 관리 비용을 지불하게 됩니다.

Call for Artists: Art for Living Space

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the international exhibition “Art for Living Space.” We are open to photography, 2D digital art, video art, paintings, installation art, furniture, decorative art, art projects for/regarding living space, and pictorial/video documentation of living spaces.

Selected works will be printed in 10×15 inches, framed, and installed by our curators & assistants. If requested by the artist, works can be printed and framed in larger sizes. Additional fees may apply.

-Video Art/Documentation

We will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the show. Multiple single-channel works will be screen through a projector. Our curators & assistants will install your work(s) according to your installation guidelines. If the work is required to be screened through a projector exclusively, or more than two projectors/monitors are needed, please indicate the special requirements in the submission email. Additional fees may apply.

-Physical Works

The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her physical work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses. The painting should be no larger than 59 inch (1.5 m) on the longest side, and the furniture/installation piece should be no larger than 59x59x79 inches (1.5 x 1.5 x 2 m, w x l x h).  The work that needs to be mounted on the wall should not exceed 10 kg. *How to submit your work:

– Please send us up to 3 direct links to video and/or up to 5 JPG images, and your bio. Please email them to “[email protected].”

– Please write “Submission: Art for Living Space – Category – Your Name” in the subject line of your email.

If your work is selected, you will be required to pay the show maintenance fee: $50 (USD) per work.
